After considerable exploration and discovery phases we began developing the NBA Verified experience. Which consists of two main elements, the Editors Studio and a Superfan app.
The editors studio allows the broadcast newtork to set the narative for the content by sending birefs, as well as set the tone by being able to target specific fans from the roster. Editors could create a brief or invitation for discussion around players or the game itself, they could then send that brief to select number of fans. This footage would then be moderated before being inserted into the live broadcast via Turner Sports.
The Superfan app is the iOS camera experience that the fan uses to receive briefs and respond. They could choose to go live in a number of ways; solo with "Take a Shot", or in a group with "Crosstalk". With topics and naratve being set by the editors studio, the content was more likely to make it to broadcast.
